Great nutrition, fresh produce, pumpkin picking, and family fun. Butler's Orchard has been a cornerstone of our community for more than 65 years!
The Damascus Soccer Club has a long history of electing volunteer board members from the community. The board meets on a quarterly basis in varied locations. Members in good standing are welcome to attend these meetings. Please contact the Club Secretary to confirm location and times.
Our volunteer leadership staff makes our Club a success. They are the arms, the legs, the brains and the heart of our Club. They add value every day. They keep the lights on, the fields lined, the permits filed, our kids earning SSL, our marketing materials flowing, and just about every other thing working the way it should. We're proud of these volunteers and we are grateful for the positive example they provide in our community for our kids to emulate.
Committees are tremendously important for the smooth running of our Club. Below are a current list of committees that members may volunteer for.
All committees are established by the Club President per the bylaws, serve for the duration of the project (some are ongoing) and report to the President on a predetermined basis.
This committee works on ways to weave character lessons into our program. Integrity, empathy, sportsmanship, teamwork, etc. All of these are key components of our program!
This committee plans for, organizes, communicates, and reports on additional extra-seasonal activities such as the end-of-season BBQ, hayrides, fun days, parades, and small-sided or round robin tournaments.
In the case of tournaments, coaching input is required.
These fine organizations make what we do possible. Please show your support to these amazing sponsors and thank them for their commitment to our organization. Interested in becoming a sponsor? Click here to learn more about our sponsorship opportunities.
